Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the 영문주소 service (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions for using the address search and English address conversion service provided by the Service, and the rights and obligations of the operator and users.

Article 2 (Service Description)

  • The Service provides search results and English address conversion based on the Korean address (road name, building name, lot number, etc.) you enter, using the Ministry of the Interior and Safety road address API.
  • Address data is based on the Ministry’s open data. The Service processes and displays API responses.
  • The Service is provided free of charge. Features and presentation may change.

Article 3 (User Obligations)

You must use the Service in compliance with law and these Terms. You must not:

  • Impersonate others or disrupt the operation of the Service
  • Use information obtained through the Service for unauthorized commercial copying or distribution (personal use for address lookup and copy is allowed)
  • Use automated access (crawling, scraping, etc.) in a way that violates the Ministry’s or the Service’s policies or places undue load on systems or networks

Article 4 (Copyright and Data Source)

Copyright and data rights in the address data (including road address and English address) belong to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. The Service only queries and displays data via the Ministry’s API. You must comply with the Ministry’s terms of use for the data.

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

  • The Service does not warrant the accuracy or availability of the Ministry’s API and is not liable for any loss due to API failure, delay, or error.
  • The Service is not liable for any issue arising from your use of the results (e.g., English address) for shipping, visas, or contracts. You are responsible for final verification.
  • The Service is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites linked from the Service.

Article 6 (Changes or Discontinuation)

The operator may change or discontinue the Service in whole or in part without prior notice and is not obligated to compensate for any resulting loss. Where practicable, significant changes or discontinuation will be announced in advance.

Article 7 (Changes to Terms)

The operator may change these Terms in accordance with law or service policy. Revised Terms will be posted on the Service with an effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

Korean law applies to these Terms and any dispute arising from use of the Service. The competent court is the court having jurisdiction over the operator’s location.
